Post-Pilot Phase
Our workshop and festival series, themed around Buckminster Fuller’s ideas of Spaceship Earth, inspires youth by teaching 21st century survival skills and competencies necessary for their futures -in work, life and play.
Spaceship Earth was a term used by Buckminster Fuller to speak to a vision for new strategies intended to enable all of humanity to live with freedom, comfort and dignity - without negatively impacting the earth’s ecosystems or regenerative ability.
He emphasized that the technology and know-how already exists, so that humanity can successfully surmount global challenges.
We use the concept of Spaceship Earth and the UN Sustainable Development Goals as prompts to help learn, explore and problem-solve around global challenges.
